Within walking distance of Roper Hospital, the Medical University of South Carolina, and the Ralph H. From West Ashley take the old Ashley River Bridge (next to the round Holiday Inn) and get into the right lane. Take the exit at Lockwood Drive South ramp where you will merge on to Lockwood Blvd. Take a left at the Calhoun Street ramp and follow right onto Calhoun Street. Approximately ½ mile later, just past the Rutledge Avenue intersection, you will see the building on your left. From Folly Beach or James Island, take the James Island Connector Bridge. Merge onto SC-30 East toward Downtown, and get into the left lane. SC-30 East becomes Calhoun Street. Approximately ½ mile later, just past the Rutledge Avenue intersection, you will see the building on your left.
From Mt. Pleasant follow US-17 South and drive over the Arthur Ravenel Bridge. Continue to follow US-17 South, exit right for King Street. At the stop sign turn right onto King Street and drive 10 blocks (or .8 mile). You will be at the corner of King and Calhoun, turn right onto Calhoun Street (the Francis Marion Hotel is on the corner). Drive four blocks (or .4 mile) and the chapel is on the right.
From Columbia, North Charleston, Summerville, Moncks Corner or Goose Creek areas take I-26 East to Charleston. I-26 will end as you approach Downtown, follow the signs for King Street. At the stop sign, turn right onto King Street and drive for 10 blocks (or .8 mile). You will be at the corner of King and Calhoun, turn right onto Calhoun Street (the Francis Marion Hotel is on the corner). Drive four blocks (or .4 mile) and the chapel is on the right.
