Our Family Serving Your Family Since 1865.

The family of funeral professionals at Stuhr encourages your family to incorporate unique customs into the funeral services we help plan and conduct. For some families, traditional burial best incorporates all which has been part of the family for generations; for others, a funeral followed by cremation may be the preferred option. With any service, there are decisions which will need to be made and we want to provide some basic information to help you.

We encourage your family to consider the value of a traditional burial. We will help you plan a service to be held at your church or at one of our five chapels in the Charleston area. Our staff will assist you in the details of burial at a cemetery near or far. We also offer a wide selection of caskets and vaults to meet your needs.

We acknowledge and appreciate the movement toward end of life rituals that conserve natural resources, are environmentally friendly, and are meaningful for your family.

Cremation is a form of final disposition that offers great flexibility with regard to planning a service. Our staff will assist you in planning the details of a meaningful service with or without the body present. We also offer a selection of urns and memorial jewelry at each of our locations.
